Almost There!

We are about 400 miles away from Hawaii and the rate Linda and her family are going we should be able to have the luau in September. Hope you are all well, happy and healthy. I will be seeing another ortho surgeon in a couple of weeks for a second opinion on my knee as I want to avoid surgery as much as possible. I'll keep you posted. Keep up the good work everyone and be ready to celebrate Hawaiian style in a few weeks:)

Happy 4th of July!

We are now 1500 miles into the Pacific Ocean and half way to Hawaii. Once we reach Hawaii we will have a luau party at the Harrison's so make sure you log in your fitness entry accomplishments. We had a fun party last week and thanks to those who came. We hope to have more come to the luau. More details will come.

We are so blessed to live in this beautiful country and to enjoy it's freedoms. Our founding fathers were inspired of God to write and sign the Declaration of Independence. I pray that we will continue to be a nation under God and to recognize His hand in everything. Have fun and be safe!

Happy Memorial Day!

Hope everyone has had a nice, relaxing Memorial Day! How blessed we are for our veteran's and those who died for our freedoms! We are 84% there for achieving our goal of walking across this great country of ours. Great job everyone and those who are still doing it! We are in New Mexico now and Linda, Kari and Jane have the Little Red Riding Hood bike marathon this coming weekend then the Ragnar in June. With their hard work and enthusiasm, we will have reached our goal by July! Great job everyone!

Long Time No Write:)

It's been over a week since my last post. My knee is a little better but not healing as fast as I want. Everyone else is doing great! We have a few more who have joined us so great work everyone! We have about 800 more units until we have walked across America!!!! This is fabulous!

There's a 5K/10k, half marathon in Farmington on Saturday, July 10th. For the 5K/10K there's an early registeration prior to July 8th for $18 and starts at 6:45am.
The 1/2 marathon is $30 and starts at 6:30am. The registration fee includes a teeshirt and a free breakfast afterwards. We did it last year and it was really fun.

We think we may have the walking across America party the night before, Friday, July 9th or possibly the week before. Not quite sure but I'll keep you posted.

Great job everyone! Keep up the good work and keep smiling:)
